Gregg is President and CEO of Patriot State Bank. He is responsible for developing and implementing the Bank’s unique business plan. Gregg joined Southern National Bank in 1972 and continued with Branch Banking and Trust after the merger in 1995. Gregg brings 34 years of banking experience and served until 2005 as City Executive for BB&T in Fuquay-Varina. Gregg is a native of NC and a 1971 graduate of Campbell University. He graduated from the LSU School of Banking in 1985. Mr. Strickland served until 2005 as City Executive for the Fuquay-Varina branch of BB&T.

Gregg has served with the Henderson, Roanoke Rapids, and Fuquay-Varina Jaycees, the Fuquay-Varina Lions Club, and the Fuquay-Varina Chamber of Commerce (serving as president in 1985). Greg lives with his wife in Fuquay-Varina.

David joined Patriot State Bank on January 27th of 2006 as Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer. He is responsible for the underwriting, quality and production of the Bank’s loan products and portfolio. David brings over 29 years of banking experience with concentrations in loan administration, loan & deposit operations, and compliance management.

David is a native of Robbins, NC and a 1976 graduate from UNC-Chapel Hill. David and wife Rachel are long term residents of Fuquay-Varina where they raised three children.

David has been involved in the Jaycees, Boy Scouts of America, The Gideon’s International, and is a member of Fuquay-Varina United Methodist Church.
